CEISS Steering Committee
CEISS is a collaborative project involving many health and government partners. To make it easier for the partners’ involvement and input, a steering committee was formed. The development of the CEISS project is being planned and facilitated through the Steering Committee.

- Community Supports Working Group to examine and recommend a basket of services to assist seniors to remain independent and age at home with services in place.
- Supportive Housing Working Group to develop a template for an agreement framework to address the needs of the various parties involved in the CEISS.
- Communication Working Group to communicate to key stakeholders and audiences on the progress of the CEISS project’s progress.
- Behavioural Health Program Working Group to provide advice on operational issues related to access, service, care delivery, team resources and outreach services.
Committee’s Activities
The CEISS concept evolved through conversations with seniors in and around Thunder Bay. The Steering Committee will continue to involve seniors to ensure the project is shaped by their needs and wants.
A CEISS Visioning Exercise was held in November 2007. For details on this event, click here.
